Hearing loss is a condition that is often associated with age, with 3 in 10 people age 60 and older experiencing hear loss. However hearing loss can affect anyone, regardless of age, even children and young adults! For example, 1 in 14 people ages 29 to 40, or 7.4%, already have hearing loss to some degree.

As we age, we become more and more likely to struggle with hearing loss. One in 14 Generation Xers (ages 2940) are already dealing with the issue. That number goes up to one in six for Baby Boomers while three in 10 Americans over the age of 60 are affected as well.

Hearing loss is more common than you'd think. One in every 14 adults over the age of 29 has hearing loss. One in every six adults over the age of 41 have hearing loss that disrupts their way of life. After the age of 60, it steeply increases to three in every 10 people that cannot hear properly.
